Spencer had a couple of vouchers for an oxygen bath, so we ventured to the health spa to see what this entailed. Having chosen our air - Spencer peppermint, me grapefruit, we soon found ourselves zipped up in capsules. At first it was rather disconcerting, tucked inside a rubber sleeping bag with a window at the face and sides. Slowly, more air was pumped into the capsule and it soon inflated to the size of a coffin. After 40 minutes we had both dozed off, and for the rest of the day I was exhausted relying on coffee to keep me awake.
