This weekend included a trip to Ryogoku to watch a Sumo tournament. Wrestlers will spend several minutes psyching themselves, for a fight that more often than not would be over in a few seconds. It was a great experience watching a sport that has always fascinated me rather than excited me. There was a large gaijin contingent in the crowd, which made me question if they were all first timers like myself. Talking of foreigners, the current champion is Mongolian, and is closely challenged by a Russian & a Bulgarian.
