This weekend we headed westwards, several hours drive to a small town called Myoko for a spot of snowboarding. Fortunately, our trip coincided with a local festival. This was the best apres ski in Japan that we have experienced yet. We were drinking sake in an igloo, watching fireworks, meeting the locals in a bar, followed by a night cap of beer in the onsen.
