A Gaijin's Encounters: Nikko

Nikko is only a couple of hours outside Tokyo, yet I found myself in what seemed like another country, walking through a frozen river bed, surrounded by frozen waterfalls.

The day continued in true Japanese style, eating Ramen, visiting temples (where the 3 monkeys came from).....drinking lots of beer, eating octopus and karaoke
